All Facial Fillers Treatments

Dermal fillers (also known as facial fillers, dermal injections, or facial augmentation) are used as an effective treatment for filling out deep lines and wrinkles. They can help slow down the aging process, by filling hollows and smoothing out the contours of your face. Anti-ageing facial fillers are the non-surgical way to achieve younger looking skin and provide volume for tired lines and wrinkles. Filler can also be used to contour and define the face, creating a chiselled HD look or alternatively can be used to rectify a flaw.

Area of Treatment

Lip Filler

Lip fillers are a popular non-surgical treatment which require minimal downtime and not permanent but long lasting. Lip fillers are a great treatment whether you require a subtle enhancement, want to add a more glamorous look, remove volume loss caused by age or smoking or you just want to plump out naturally thin lips to give a larger look and high definition.

This procedure is also great in changing the shape of your lips, allowing more teeth to be visible or to correct downturned lips, you may want to consider a lip lift which can be discussed at your initial consultation.

We have various products available to suit all client’s requirements and can offer a variation of techniques with or without cannula to prevent bruising – we also offer the amazing latest advanced technique ‘Russian Lip’.

Dermal fillers in the lip area usually last between 6-12 months, depending on your body and metabolism, along with the exact product used. If you do want to add more lip filler over time to change your look further, dermal filler is a versatile tool for creating the look you want. It is very normal to feel nervous before any dermal filler treatment, but we will talk you through everything, so there is no need to worry.

Both men and women love lip augmentation for its instant results and convenience, and here at Cosmetic Aesthetics, you will get the lips you have always wanted.

What to expect with your Lip Filler procedure?

After your initial consultation, you can then book an appointment for your filler treatment. Typically, the consultation and appointment can be done on the same day!

Firstly, the qualified aesthetician will clean the face and lips and may apply a l pain reliever cream, to help make the process more comfortable. They will then talk you through the process and explain where they will be injecting.

Then, the dermal filler will be injected into a few areas of the lips. The aesthetician may need to use their hands to gently massage the filler in the lips, ensuring it is in the right place.

The results of your treatment will be available instantly, although swelling is likely over the next few hours.

On your treatment day, you can also use injectable filler to add volume to other areas of the face at the same time.

Aftercare

After your treatment is complete, we will let you know exactly how to care for your new, fuller lips verbally and with a written aftercare card.

Generally, it is best to avoid intense exercise, saunas, or hot tubs for the first 24 hours after treatment, avoid alcohol, and drink plenty of water.

Also, avoid a hot shower or bath immediately after your treatment. Your lips may be slightly sore, but this will quickly subside.

To help ease any swelling, you may also want to gently apply an ice pack for a few minutes at a time, which can help with pain as well. You may find it more comfortable to sleep on your back, with your head slightly elevated.

Generally, most clients like to go home and take it easy for the rest of the day after fillers, and then return to their normal activities the following day. If you do experience any severe pain or discomfort, contact your treatment centre right away.

Cheek filler/Cheek Contour

Perfect for cheek bone enhancement, contouring,, restoring natural shape after volume loss and high cheek bones for that classic heart shaped face. Using the latest cannula technique we can create the newly sought-after HD cheeks, perfect for those wanting a chiselled contoured look.

Nasolabial Lines (Nose to Mouth – also known as smile lines)

Perfect procedure for reducing the depth and softening nose to mouth lines which are caused by muscle movement when we smile and laugh – this procedure will help by removing the creasing from smiling and laughing – which is not always a bad thing, everyone loves laughing.

Tear Trough (Undereye) filler

Perfect for tired looking eyes and to give a more youthful look. As we age, we lose volume under the eyes causing dark circles & hollows which can make us look tired (even when we are not). This procedure will give you a refreshed appearance.

Smokers Lines (vertical lines around the mouth which spread from the lips).

Dermal Filler can be used to help smooth out these lines and improve appearance due to the area losing its volume as we age, along with repetitive bunching of the tissue from muscular movement. Smoking does not always cause smokers lines, but smokers are more likely to form these lines due to repeated smoking a cigarette movement.

Marionette filler (corner of the mouth)

These are also known as ‘sad lines’ – using dermal filler will lift the area by adding volume & anchoring the corners higher up – filler in this area will help remove the creases caused which can give a grim or sad look to the face. These lines occur with age, smoking and genetics and can progress to form jowls later if not treated.

Jaw Line filler (also known as jawline enhancement or contour)

Perfect procedure to give you a defined jawline with more structure and improve your side profile dramatically. This procedure can reduce the appearance of jowls, improve ‘double chins’ & give symmetry by adding volume and also strengthening the lower half of the face preventing further sagging.

Chin filler (enhance short chin or dimple chin)

Filler in the chin area helps to reshape and balance the face shape, this can also give a slimming effect in some cases and also help with the appearance of double chins. This procedure can also give a stronger chin & often compliments jawline sculpting.

Temples

As you age your temple loses fat/volume leading to a ‘hollow’ look. Filler will fill and restore the volume and plump the skin up. In some cases, using filler in temples can lift the sides of your eyes nearest to the temple, giving a more youthful look.

PLEASE REMEMBER – The results of dermal filler treatments will not last forever. Though individual results can vary, most clients enjoy the results for 6 to 12/18 months. Factors that can influence how long your dermal filler treatment lasts include: age, lifestyle, skin type, muscle activity
